Skills-Oriented Learning Experience

We do not merely teach you to memorise content.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that students expect the mastery of A Level History to depend primarily on one’s ability to memorise substantial content.

A fatal mistake.

Even if one were to succeed in that endeavour, the problem comes: Do you know which parts of the content to use for the essay and case study questions? 

Our Tuition Programme has been developed in consideration of the aforementioned setback. In particular, the class activities will be conducted with the aim of identifying the essential content to be used in often-tested scenarios.

Thematic Content Recap

For the six themes in H2 History (9174), you will examine each of them in class during the school term. With reference to the in-house study notes, our tutor will demonstrate how you can approach various topics strategically, such that the areas of study have been narrowed down to emphasise critical sections that you should be familiar with.

Guided Practices and Mock Tests

As an extension of the thematic content recap, you will be given ample opportunities to apply what you have learnt in class to practice questions. Given that the H2 History (9174) subject will be assessed via an e-examination, you are strongly encouraged to attempt the practices online. Also, timed mock tests are conducted periodically to assess your subject proficiency.

Consultations and Post-Practice Feedback

We understand that the entire process of learning History is an uphill feat for some. As such, students who enrol in our History Tuition will be given the option to arrange consultations with our tutor. These consultations are either held on-site at our tuition centre or online to answer any questions that you have with regards to the subject. Practice feedback is also given to identify areas of improvement.
